Every fifteen minutes nearly thirty people are trafficked across international borders. SHORT SYNOPSIS In a remote and inhospitable place with its own rules, we follow the journey of a group of women forced into slavery. LONG SYNOPIS A movie that takes place in real time about the clandestine nature of Human trafficking. “Terra Amarela” (Yellow Country) is an uninterrupted and claustrophobic journey that takes us to the underworld of one of the largest criminal organizations of the 21st Century, Human Trafficking. In about 15 minutes, the story captures the chaos through the eyes of the victims, a dance between men and women from different parts of the world, that portrays Europe as no man’s land. // Subtitles: The film doesn’t have subtitles in English, because the original version doesn’t have it either. It’s an artistic/narrative option, once there are many languages at the same time, and often hardly perceptible.
